The Bunbury City band has been an integral part of the City of Bunbury since the early 1900s, performing at many civic functions and work very closely with the Bunbury City Council. The musical director will be responsible for;

Conducting of the Bunbury city band (Wednesday 7.30-9.30pm), attendance at performances, and rehearsals. 

The Musical Director shall have control of all musical matters, including; Music selection (In consultation with the committee) and the training of all musicians to a high standard of performance.  

The musical director will also be responsible for writing a formal written report for the band’s AGM, as well as providing ad hoc reports from time to time at the committee’s request.

Brassomatic is the training band for the Bunbury City Band, it is comprised of members both young and old in hopes of developing their musical ability to a higher standard in order to join the Bunbury City Band.

Each year the RSL have about 10 buglers who sound the Last Post at 11am on Remembrance Day at the main intersections in the CBD, this year for the centenary we will have 100 buglers sound the Last Post across the Perth CBD, Kings Park and Northbridge.

We are inviting all brass players across WA to join us!
