WABA State Championships Entry Forms (Word) 2018
Contained within are most of the things you need to know about this year’s event, along with the Entry Forms required. Attached also are the entry forms in Word format should you wish to complete and return via email.
This year again we will NOT be accepting music scores by email. (I apologise if that inconveniences you but please understand that it is a mammoth task for me to print and collate all of the scores, and I do appreciate you sharing the load 😊). Please submit copied scores, with all bar numbers marked, by MAIL to the address given, or contact me to arrange hand delivery BY THE CLOSING DATE.
Please encourage your members to participate in the Solos and Ensembles competition which will be held on Monday 4th June.
The Solo Competition this year will again feature a prize for the soloist with the highest points in both the brass & woodwind sections. The inclusion of a prize provides a greater incentive for players to participate in this section and we look forward to seeing an increased number of participants at this year’s event.
WABA will again be providing an accompanist for the day of the solo competition.
The accompanist’s details will be communicated to all bands as soon as they have been finalised.
